Thirty sailors and Marines suffered injuries when two amphibious watercraft collided off the coast of Jacksonville, Fla. Marines will no longer buckle down to learn the list of the service’s leadership traits, as an “E” for empathy was added at the end of the famous phrase used to commit them to memory. Alec Langen were the Marines aboard the CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter that was traveling Tuesday from Creech Air Force Base in Nevada to Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in California, the service said.
